North Amherst, MA – The Mill District General Store & Local Art Gallery invite you to celebrate Pride Month by supporting 28 local LGBTQIA+ artisans at the Queer Artisan Market on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm.
This free, family-friendly market, typically held outdoors, will be hosted indoors at the former Provisions space in North Square, The Mill District, due to inclement weather. Enjoy a curated music playlist by the vendor community and participate in a 30-foot wall coloring activity to express your joy and celebrate Pride through art.
“We are excited for this Sunday’s market! It’s a fantastic opportunity to support local LGBTQIA+ artisans,” says Gallery Coordinator, Shannon Youtsey Borrell. “This event has become one of our favorite annual traditions.”
Store Manager Molly Crookes adds, “We have several artisans experiencing their first time vending at a market. We are happy to provide the opportunity for them.”
The event is ADA accessible. Masks are optional but encouraged and will be available at the welcome table. Please note, the event will not be scent-free but will have no additional scents other than possible crafts from vendors or food from the food vendor. Smoke-free environment.
Join us in celebrating and supporting our vibrant LGBTQIA+ community this Pride Month!
