4th Annual Queer Artisan Market Returns to The Mill District in Celebration of Amherst Pride!

North Amherst, MA – The Mill District General Store & Local Art Gallery is thrilled to present its 4th Annual Queer Artisan Market on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 91 Cowls Road in North Amherst. This free, outdoor event will feature over 30 LGBTQIA+ artists and makers, offering ceramics, fine art, jewelry, wearables, gifts, and more.

“We’re so proud to create space for LGBTQIA+ artists to be seen and supported,” said Shannon Borrell, Gallery Coordinator. “This market represents the heart of our mission: to uplift diverse voices and foster community connection.”

The market is held in the ADA-accessible parking lot of The Mill District, North Amherst. Bathrooms are available on site. As part of the event’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion, the market will be smoke-free, low-scent, and mask-friendly.

“It’s important to us that this event is welcoming and accessible to everyone — vendors, customers, and community partners alike,” said Shauna Wallace, Project Manager “This is a space where people can be fully themselves.”

In addition to celebrating queer artists, the event will offer ways to support local causes through partnerships with groups like the Amherst Survival Center and the Amherst Young Feminist Party. Guests are encouraged to bring donations of high-need items to benefit the Survival Center’s essential programs; collection materials and information will be available on-site.

This event is family friendly, and will also feature activities such as giant bubble making, coloring, and free short movement sessions from Adrienne of Balanced Birch.

There is no rain date for this event. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP on Eventbrite to receive event updates and reminders.
