Bring the whole family for a fun and festive Halloween celebration! Our Trunk or Treat event features creatively decorated car trunks, plenty of candy, Herrell's Ice Cream will have Teal Pumpkin toy treats, and activities for kids of all ages. Dress up in your best costume and enjoy a night full of laughter, community spirit, and spooky fun.

Want to bring a trunk?!
All vehicles participating in treat distribution must complete our free registration
- Deadline to Register is October 23rd, 2025.

We have 40 spaces available for Amherst, MA residents and organizations.

Participants will provide their own candy or activity for distribution.

Decorate your trunk with fun spooky decor. (This is an all ages family friendly event, so don't make things too spooky!)

Vehicles will be assigned a number so folks can vote for their favorite!

The Vehicle with the most votes will receive a $50 Gift Card to The Mill District General Store!

Costume Contest!
We will be collecting entries for our Costume Contest of MOST FESTIVE for a $50 Gift Card to The Mill District General Store & Local Art Gallery - Stop by our event booth and we will snag a photo of your costume.
A winner will be selected from our panel of judges and contacted after the Trunk or Treat on October 31st, 2025.

Participants of The Teal Pumpkin Project aim to raise food allergy awareness by offering the option of non-food trinkets and toys in a separate bowl to make Halloween safer and more fun for all trick-or-treaters.
