Can you smell the coffee?
Just past our main counter you will find a coffee station where you can pour & purchase a cup of locally roasted coffee from Esselon Coffee Roasters in Hadley, MA and then take a stroll through the Local Art Gallery to view the work of over 20 local artists who create pottery, paintings, jewelry, and more!
Featured Storywalk Book
¡El Mosquito! by Angel Nieto
The best thing about walkable North Amherst is what you find along the way! Visit The Mill District Storywalk, along the Julius Lester Trail, featuring locally written and illustrated children's books. The trail begins at the back left corner of the Mill River Recreation Area and continues all the way to Puffer's Falls, with the Storywalk along the first half of the trail.
Sign up for the General Store mailing list to stay clued in to Storywalk author walks, book signings, story hours, and so much more. You can also find a great selection of locally written and illustrated books at the General Store...including this one!
